Terms of Service
Last updated June 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MixLens, an audio restoration and mastering service ("MixLens", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
MixLens analyzes audio you upload, repairs codec and source damage, and produces a mastered render you can preview and download. Outputs are generated by automated digital signal processing and machine-learning models. We do not guarantee any specific result, and audio mastering outcomes are inherently subjective.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use MixLens.
3. Your content and rights
You retain all rights to the audio you upload and to the masters we produce from it. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to every track you upload and that processing it through MixLens does not infringe anyone's rights.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transform your audio solely to provide the service to you — for example, to run analysis, restoration, and mastering, and to deliver previews and downloads. We do not use your audio to train models or for any purpose other than operating the service for you.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you do not have the rights to process.
- Do not use the service to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the service, its rate limits, or its security.
- Do not resell or provide access to the service in a way that abuses free-tier limits.
5. Credits, billing, and refunds
Mastering is paid for with credits. Credits may be purchased as one-time packs or granted through a subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
A credit is charged when you download a master, not when you upload or preview. Because a download delivers the final deliverable, completed downloads are generally non-refundable. Failed or errored masters are not charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Prices and credit amounts are shown at checkout and may change prospectively.
6. Intellectual property
The MixLens software, models, pipeline, branding, and site are our property and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to them except the right to use the service as offered.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any master will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MixLens will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, audio, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or abusive. Unused one-time credits associated with a terminated account may be forfeited.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
