Privacy Policy
Last updated June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what MixLens ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the MixLens website and service.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication details, managed through our authentication provider.
- Audio you upload — the tracks you submit for analysis, restoration, and mastering, and the masters we generate from them.
- Usage and device data — basic logs, the masters you create, and a browser fingerprint we use to enforce free-tier limits and detect abuse.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of purchases and subscription status, but we do not store your full card number.
How we use information
- To operate the service — analyze, repair, and master your audio and deliver the result.
- To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
- To enforce usage limits and protect against fraud and abuse.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded audio to train models.
Storage and security
Uploaded audio and masters are stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2). Files are accessed through short-lived presigned URLs, and transfers are encrypted in transit. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Cloudflare R2 — audio file storage and delivery.
Audio processing (restoration and mastering) runs on our own infrastructure.
Audio retention
We retain your uploaded originals and masters so you can preview, re-download, and revisit them from your library. You can delete a track from your library at any time, which removes its stored files. Closing your account removes your associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Cookies & analytics
We use a secure, HttpOnly session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. For product usage analytics we use OpenPanel, which we self-host and which is cookieless.
We also use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure traffic and marketing; these third parties may set their own cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
MixLens is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
